On January 11, 2025, Bakhita Canossa Foundation, Inc. (BCFI) and Majekal Mission had the honor of attending the National Service Training Program (NSTP) Orientation hosted by the Center for Social Concern and Action (COSCA) of De La Salle University (DLSU). We are deeply grateful to be selected as a Partnership Organization for the NSTP for Academic Year 2024-2025, reinforcing our commitment to fostering community development and youth empowerment.

On February 15, 2025, BCFI and Majekal Mission had the privilege of introducing our mission and advocacy to the students of DLSU’s NSTP and presenting the community of Tondo—a vibrant yet challenged area in need of sustainable interventions. Through this collaboration, we aim to create impactful service-learning experiences that inspire young individuals to engage in meaningful social action and community outreach.

Aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

This partnership with DLSU’s NSTP is a significant step toward advancing multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

📚 SDG 4: Quality Education – By providing service-learning opportunities, we are equipping students with practical skills, social awareness, and a sense of civic responsibility, complementing their academic knowledge with real-world applications.
