The Bakhita Canossa Foundation, Inc. has once again given away food packs to people who are found working in the streets to support their endeavors in making a living!
Last 10th of July, 2021 the foundation’s “Gift-a-Meal Project” was spearheaded by the Fr. Angelo Pasa Seminary, Canossian Fathers Community in Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao. A total of 100 food packs containing CDO Community’s very own chicken adobo and Fr. Joel Raymundo’s best ever pancit and rice went to street workers and dwellers at downtown Cagayan de Oro. The boxes were signed with uplifting (and at times a bit humorous) messages by the seminarians to which the recipients found both inspiring and amusing.
The people greeted the anonymous white L300 van with a smile and an uplifting “Thank you” as the boxes were handed out.
We are ever grateful to the supporters of this project! We pray that you may continue to spread the love by purchasing tickets for next month’s Gift-a-Meal giving day!
Wanna know how you can send out smiles too? Send us a message now!
